1. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply between Cargo Safe Oy (later “CSOY”) and the corporate customer (later “customer”) for any online trading, unless otherwise agreed in writing. CSOY reserves the right to change these conditions. Current version of the terms and conditions is available on CSOY web-page www.cargosafe.fi.
2. Ordering and prices
As soon as an order has been submitted and accepted, it is binding. An order can be altered or cancelled only by CSOY, only with prior agreement in writing with the customer.
All prices in the web shop are excluding value added tax (VAT 25,5%). VAT of 25,5% is added at the checkout and information about delivery charge is also advised at that point. With large shipments (such as fibreboard- or plywood boxes) we will always contact the customer to advise and agree on the freight charges prior to shipping. At this point the customer still has the right to cancel the order.
3. Delivery
We stock most of the items continuously. Should the order be made before 12:00 Monday to Friday, delivery time is 1-2 working days (except some remote areas). Should the item be out of stock we will confirm the delivery time directly with the customer. In case this is not suitable (urgent orders), it is possible for the customer to cancel the order at this point.
Deliveries are made by DB Schenker. It is also possible for the customer to organize the transport by their own means. In which case CSOY requires prior information about the designated transporter as well as all applicable transport documents. Collection from our Vantaa facility is also an option. In case of a collection, please select “PICK UP” as the delivery type at the checkout.
4̣. Payment method, terms and ownership
The only available payment method is invoice. All orders are invoiced with payment term of 14 days (net), unless otherwise agreed with the customer. If you are an existing customer, the current terms will be observed. CSOY reserves the right to change the current payment terms if so required and will notify the customer in writing.
By appealing to the change, order can still be cancelled by customer at this point. The customer gains full ownership of the purchased products after the payment has been received in full.
5. Responsibilities and damages
Customer is responsible for providing true and accurate information at the time of placing an order. CSOY is not responsible for any damages or costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer. CSOY e-commerce register is confidential and no information regarding it will be disclosed to third parties without consent from the customer unless otherwise stipulated by law or an official order.
In case of any damages during transportation, the customer must notify CSOY without a delay in writing to verkkokauppa@cargosafe.fi. This notification must not be given any later than within 5 days of the receipt of the goods.
We apply the Sale of Goods Act (355/1987).
